We were upgrading our nitrogen storage, and one of the reasons we needed to replace and upgrade the concrete pad was the size of the new tank. As you can see, it's quite a large tank, so we needed to make sure the new foundation met all the applicable building codes and seismic requirements and could accommodate the seismic loading of such a massive storage tank.

They've even taken care of the final touches, making sure the areas around the facility are cleaned up, looking good and ready to go.
On the surface, it might seem like a fairly simple project. You pour some concrete and put some rebar in there. But there were actually some unique challenges. We needed to take core samples and drill through the existing layers of surfaces and pads to determine exactly what the geotechnical conditions were underneath. That was an important part of making sure the new foundation would perform as required.
I would definitely recommend Moore & Sons. You can tell them exactly what you need, and they'll ask the right questions to make sure everything is included in the project. That means we don't have to worry about unexpected issues or last-minute hitches.
They also did an excellent job coordinating with all the other subcontractors and trades involved in the project.
If I were to rate them from one to 10 stars, I'd give them 10.
Don Moore personally was very responsive to any feedback we had from day one. So, out of 10 stars, it's definitely a 10-star experience.
