Moore & Sons Contracting is proud to announce the successful completion of a unique project at the foot of the new Pattullo Bridge construction site on King George Boulevard in Surrey. Our team has just wrapped up the installation of six rail terminal gantries for Greenergy, a multinational company specializing in the supply and distribution of transportation fuels and waste-based renewables.

Over the course of just three days, our crew assembled the 25-foot tall gantries on-site before craning them into place on their custom-designed concrete pads. Each pad measures 6 feet by 10 feet and serves as the foundation for the gantries, which are used to offload fuel from railcar tankers onto transport trucks.

“We are thrilled to have completed this project for Greenergy,” said Don Moore, President of Moore & Sons Contracting. “This is an important infrastructure piece for their daily operation, and we’re excited to have contributed to it. The project’s fast-paced timeline and complexity made it an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the efficiency and skill of our team.”

Greenergy, which operates in Canada, the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, India, Australia, and the USA, plays a crucial role in the transportation and distribution of fuel and renewable energy sources.

With the successful completion of this project, Moore & Sons is eager to continue expanding its work in Western Canada, building more rail terminal gantry concrete pads to support critical infrastructure in the energy sector.
